We provide podiatry home visits for clients in the comfort of their own homes.

We service the majority of Perth suburbs.

We are fully insured and all our equipment is sterile and/or single-use.


As a mobile podiatry provider, we focus on providing services for those who either have difficulty attending their local clinic or who would prefer to have the podiatrist visit them at home.

We bring all the equipment necessary to your home to provide treatment. Whether you need to be sitting in a recliner or lying down in bed, we are happy to accommodate to ensure your utmost comfort during the consult.

We can assist with all aspects of routine nail and skin care including:

  • Cutting of toenails
  • Reducing thickened toenails
  • Reducing any hard skin, such as corns or callous
  • Providing advice on general foot care and hygiene
  • Diabetic foot assessments


We believe in transparent and fair pricing. Therefore, we charge a flat rate of $150 for all consultations, whether it’s your initial visit or a standard review.

Are you registered/insured?

Yes, all our podiatrists are registered with the Podiatry Board of Australia and are fully insured.

Is your equipment sterile?

Yes, rest assured all equipment and consumables used during your treatment have been sterilised to Australian Standards or are single-use only.

Do you take on Medicare/EPC/CDM referrals?

If you have a Medicare/CDM (Chronic Disease Management) referral from your GP or are eligible for one, please contact us to make a booking.

We require a copy of your referral prior to seeing you.

Please note we do NOT bulk bill. You will have to pay full fee of $150 (cash or card) and claim rebate of $56 from Medicare.

We have a mobile HICAPS terminal and may be able to assist you with claiming on the day. Please have your Medicare card and debit card ready if you would like to do so.

Do you take on DVA referrals?

Unfortunately, we are no longer able to take on any new DVA clients. We are more than happy to see you as a private client.

Do you take on NDIS clients?

Yes, if you are self-managed or plan-managed, as we are non-registered providers for NDIS.

Can I claim using private health insurance such as Medibank Private or HBF?

Yes, if you have cover for podiatry you may be eligible for a rebate. Please check with your private health insurer prior to the appointment regarding cover and rebates, as this varies between funds.

We have a mobile HICAPS terminal to assist you in claiming on-the-spot.

Please note some funds, such as HBF, do not currently allow claiming on a mobile HICAPS terminal. If this is the case, you can still use the receipt to make a claim with them later.

Who runs Happy Home Podiatry?

Our head podiatrist and manager is Lydia Cheng. She has over 16 years experience as a podiatrist in both clinical and community settings. In a previous life, she ran and sold another successful mobile podiatry company. She loves being able to provide mobile podiatry care for people who would otherwise find it difficult to receive quality foot care.

When she isn’t caring for feet in the community, she loves to spend time with her two daughters and her French Bulldog Louis. She also enjoys travelling, cooking delicious meals for family and friends and playing the drums.

How far do you travel?

We cover the majority of the Perth metro area (ie. Within 30 mins of Perth CBD). If you live on the fringes, please give us a ring and we’ll let you know if we can come out to see you!

What if I have an issue that is more than routine nail and skin care?

As a mobile podiatry service, our focus is on providing routine nail and skin care. All the equipment we carry with us, is for this purpose.

We suggest attendance at a local clinic if your issue is beyond routine nail and skin care. If you need a recommendation, we’d be happy to point you in the right direction!

What are your fees?

Both initial visits and standard review visits are $150.

Our fee covers travel to and from your home, treatment and all equipment/consumables required on the day. We bring it all with us!

We appreciate payment on the day of your service. We accept both cash or card. 

Cancellation & missed appointment policy

We understand life is busy and unexpected things can occur, so please contact us ASAP if you can no longer make your appointment. This allows us to offer your appointment to another client in need of care. 

We charge our full fee $150 for missed appointments.

No further appointments can be booked until missed appointment fee is paid.
